Distribution of the SFSF by project

In July 2009, Alaska Department of Education and Early Development awarded $34,673,609 for ASD State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF) projects, that were distributed in two phases, over two years. ASD utilized SFSF funds to develop innovative instructional projects, as well as to make needed upgrades and repairs to improve student access to technology and student learning environments. The projects were funded as illustrated in the chart to the right. All SFSF projects were either completed and or project funds were obligated as required by September 30, 2011, the grant deadline.
