This U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service competitive grant for food service equipment was issued through the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED). The DEED distributed $286,227 in food service equipment grants to Alaska school districts. The State awarded each applicant district its top priority request, (the ASD Student Nutrition Department submitted 46 individual grant requests).
