Deadlines are approaching fast to apply for summer programs:

  • Summer Enrichment Program is for students entering grades 1-8 and focuses on Alaska Native language instruction, cultural arts, PE, and technology integration. Deadline: May 4, 2012.
  • Project Ki'L's Summer Pre-K Transition Adventure is designed to help pre-kindergarten Alaska Native and American Indian boys successfully transition into kindergarten. Deadline: May 14, 2012.
  • Project Ki'L's Camp K'isaani (boy) is a fun, active one week camp for kindergarten to fifth-grade boys, connecting students with Alaska Native cultural guests and mentors, such as drummers and storyteller, and STEM projects like Lego robotics and block building. Deadline: May 14, 2012.
  • Project Puquigtut's summer semester is offering English 9, English 10, Algebra A, Algebra B, Alaska Studies, World History, and US History. Register by: May 25, 2012
