Welcome to the Title VII Indian Education Program

We support schools as they provide opportunities for Native students to meet and exceed academic and cultural standards. We also seek to assist families with navigating our schools across the district.

SUMMER PROGRAMS - A time to learn something new and exciting
TITLE VII SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM Students entering grades 1-8 June 4-14 or June 18-28 (both sessions full but a wait list is available) Students can focus on art, P.E, technology and Native language instruction. ASD's Title VII Indian Education Program has staff in schools across the district who concentrate their efforts on academic assistance, counseling and cultural enrichment. We receive funding from two sources: the U.S. Department of Education under Title VII - Indian, Native Hawaiian and Alaska Native Education and from the Anchorage School District for Native Education.
